About
I am a writer/journalist in Indianapolis, Indiana. I started my career in journalism as a TV news producer/correspondent and worked for such organizations as WCNC TV in Charlotte, North Carolina and CNN, Reuters Television, CBN News and a few of the local affiliates in Washington, DC.
In this blog, you’ll learn of my experiences with 9/11 and why I relocated to Indianapolis, a place where I knew no one and had never been. I met my wonderful husband, Kurt, here and we’ve been married for nearly four years.
Today, I work as a print writer/journalist in the motorsports industry and I also write for faith-based publications and do a lot of corporate writing through my company, Fletcher Communications. (Fletcher is our dog! Bo is my cat. I say mine because Kurt doesn’t claim him!)
Well, now it’s really getting wierd. We have two dogs and my husband truly dislikes my cat (see blog post Animals Can’t be People).
I once wrote a piece on Bondurant School for racing and traded for a class for my husband. You’ve really got a gift for expressing the heart of a message. I’d love to talk more about both our book projects to see how we can encourage each other.
I’m getting geared up to pitch it next week at the Glorieta Christian Writers Conference (awesome event!), so pray if you think about it.
